Bray began to share the gospel everywhere he went and pursue his dream of playing music. He and his band, Jesus, Power & Light, traveled the country singing and preaching the gospel, and they made their first LP, “Better Way”. Bray was ignited with a fire to do more for God. His home church asked him to serve as youth pastor. He didn’t like the idea, but he surrendered to the Lord’s calling. The youth group grew through personal discipleship, and Bray raised up many great leaders and missionaries that serve to this day.
In 1987 Bray’s pastor asked him to launch a college ministry/church across town. Though this was not in his plan, he surrendered to God’s call. This was the beginning of Harvest World Outreach. During this time, Bray recorded a few new projects: “Be Right Back”, “Take the City”, and “Fire and Rain”. Many of his songs were covered by national recording artist and Grammy nominee Phil Driscoll.
The church grew and relocated to a larger building and Bray continued to record in-house worship albums, including his newest record, “Arrow Project”. Pastors Bray and Diane were selected to be on the international ministry team of Pastor Cesar Castellanos. Pastor Cesar was one of the keynote speakers in the 100 year anniversary of Azusa street along with Hillsong’s Brian Houston.
