People are searching desperately for peace in the midst of the serious financial, societal, and family challenges of today. Jesus is The Prince of Peace and He alone can bring us “peace that surpasses all understanding” (Phil. 4:7). The passionate mission of the church is to effectively share the peace and blessings of God with those around us. God has given us a simple tool to accomplish this important mission in a practical and meaningful way—through the House of Peace initiative.

A House of Peace visit is a brief 15-20 minute visit from a believer—or agent of peace—to a home to share an inspirational thought from scripture and to pray for God’s peace and blessing in the home. The sole purpose of the visit is to lovingly serve the people and families of our community, while expecting nothing in return. If interested, individuals have the opportunity to receive a series of weekly visits to explore different aspects of the peace and love of God.

The House of Peace movement represents the faith of the church put into action and is catching on around the world. Hundreds in our community have gotten involved in this exciting initiative and the amazing effects are rippling through circles of families and friends.
