The tangible presence of God at an Encounter allows participants to personally connect with the Lord and His work on the cross like never before. Hundreds have conquered the limitations of their past and launched into a victorious and fulfilling Christian life through their Encounter experience.
The Pastoral Ministry Team facilitates a series of powerful sessions and ministry times with breaks for meals and fellowship. Most Encounters are homogenous overnight retreats (either men, women or youth attendees) held at the church’s retreat center in Kentwood to create the optimal environment for the encounter experience. Occasionally, other specialized Encounters are offered as well, such a Marriage Encounters, Leadership Encounters, or church-wide Macro-Encounters.
